A Short Reflection on 15 Years of American Idol

Tonight, 15 years of life in these United States of America, comes to an end.  Thank you American Idol producers, performers, people watching, judges, voters, following friends and all of us voting with our time and dollars.  You gave us hours of enjoyable community through many smart song choices, memorable performances and always great production values.

La'Porsha Renae, your "Summertime" with Fantasia let's me know honesty  and intimacy, even on camera, can help us all get to the place where "nothing's gonna harm you, you, you"--well worth this year's 1,636,310 views.

Thank you for your elegant, meaningful "Glory" and now "Battles"--with hopes and prayers for "No More Drama"--are super star song choices and performances rising toward more great American performances.

Trent Harmon, your amazing ranging voice, Amory, Mississippi farmer-family style, and plenty of camera-loving charm continues our great crooner heritage in first class.  I DON'T know you enough by now.

Dalton Rapattoni--Congratulations on top three honors and Dallas, Texas big time performances. Here's hoping we can all rule our creative worlds as your, your family, fans, and 2016 supporters.

With an additional thank you to JustJared.com and Gillette ProGlide for bringing me current music performances best for viewing and critiquing, thank you again American Idol and the Fox network for 15 years of great contemporary music and community participation.
