50 Plus Prayer

For best of health
For blossoming wealth
For better climbing
For blessed whinning
    teaching me humility, respect, truthfulness and calm

As I have been sent over the hill in grand style to
Nifty spiffy thrifty fifty

Loving people gives me a soft landing

Now I just hope to honor my family and my town
With my time and talents--glorifying my God Almighty

Soiree Into the Land of 50

My big idea was to invite friends to the Renaissance International Restaurant of Berrien Springs for my 50th birthday party.  Each could bring a non-alcoholic drink to share--bottled or tea, plus a poem or song.  Instead I learned more about humility, respect, truthfulness and calm via a no-way-jose attitude at the last minute.  I still hope for more Brunch Lunch Buffet Soirees and will redue my house to make it happen.  Cheers!
